Denis Monastyrskyi: The problem of collaborators' activity has not become fatal for Ukraine
This was announced today, June 2, by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky during the tele-marathon “United News”, where the fight against collaborative activities was discussed.
“I am convinced that Putin and those who came here - the orcs, believed that our whole country in one or three days of full-scale aggression would turn into a country of collaborators. Fortunately, this did not happen. We can say that we confidently protect the borders of our state. And we are not talking about the possible occupation of Kiev, Kharkov, Sumy, Chernihiv,” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
He said that along with the National Police, the Security Service and the Prosecutor's Office work in investigating crimes regarding collaborative activities.
“The facts that are directly investigated by the National Police are 540 proceedings. As for 40 people, there are already relevant sentences. We are waiting for a lot of work in the de-occupied Kharkiv region, as well as Donetsk and Luhansk regions. In general, we need a revision of the attitude towards the paramount positions in our state,” said Denis Monastyrsky.
