St. Nicholas Day. Police officers of Kherson region visited with gifts for children, and rescuers of Lviv region congratulated elderly people
Employees of youth prevention of the police of the Kherson region with the support of volunteers visited each deoccupied community and congratulated the children on St. Nicholas Day. Due to the difficult security situation, there were neither festive concerts nor entertainment programs. But the little one received many gifts, greetings and sincere hugs from the police.
Juveniles were visited by families. Children who survived the occupation and Russian shelling live in villages looted by the enemy, deprived of the usual format of learning and communication with peers, inspectors gave toys, books, sweets and stationery sets.
Together with the concerned townspeople, the juveniles also visited two young invincible Kherson citizens who were wounded due to enemy shelling in the hospital.
The policemen spoke words of support to the children, encouraged them, raised their spirits with gifts, warm words and wishes that St. Nicholas fulfill all their cherished dreams.
Rescuers of Lviv region congratulated the elderly on the holiday of St. Nicholas. Kindness is expressed not only in the great deeds of the world, but also in those that we do sincerely.
Instead, rescuers greeted elderly people living in Velikomostivskyi geriatric boarding house of Chervonograd district of Lviv region.
This year, in order to congratulate the old people, each employee of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv region prepared a gift for grandfathers and grandmothers. Sweet guests and pleasant gifts have raised the mood of the residents of the boarding house.
We hope that this story will not only stir, but also spur other people to action. For in a world where good tends to become habit, we are capable of miracles.
