The EU delegation together with the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Emergency Service visited the rescuers of Irpen
Today, within the framework of international cooperation and support of our country, a delegation led by the EU Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Janez Lenarchich and the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine Mattie Maasikas visited the fire and rescue unit of the city of Irpin.
European officials, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Mary Akopian and Head of the State Emergency Service Serhiy Kruk, inspected the premises and territory of the fire brigade. Military action continued here for almost a month. Rescuers managed to save cars and special equipment, and the building itself was partially destroyed by the Rascist invaders.
After the liberation of the city, specialists of pyrotechnic units work side by side with firefighters, because the territory of the city is “spied” with thousands of explosive objects
So the European guests inspected the special equipment and equipment that is in arms of the fire technicians of the State Emergency Service
Rescuers of Kyiv region were awarded. It was these guys who put out fires under the shelling, took people out of the occupied territories and depopulated the territories.
