This was stated today, September 30, by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine after inspecting the scene of the shelling of the checkpoint in Zaporizhzhia.

According to Denis Monastyrsky, today at seven in the morning, as every day, people gathered in columns in order to come to the temporarily occupied territories to their homes, parents, children:

“About 50 cars gathered here and they were accumulating every minute. At this moment, S-300 missiles landed here. Three arrivals at short intervals that took the lives of 30 citizens. Specifically, two children, 11 and 14 years old. Their mother also died, and their 3-year-old sister is now in the hospital. After her, her grandparents are leaving from Lviv region.”

In addition, 88 people received injuries of varying severity. There are no and were not military facilities or equipment. Every day, only civilians who come to the temporarily occupied territory on their own business gather here.

“This attack was clearly planned, because it happened on the day when Putin, the main terrorist, was about to announce the annexation of the regions, in particular Zaporizhia. Quite consciously, paving the way for this statement, he has traditionally struck a blow at the civilian population. Yes, this is a response to the success of our troops in the Kharkiv region, near the Liman and not only for us, but also for the whole civilized world. Therefore, this tragedy completely falls on the shoulders of the main terrorist Putin, because there is no doubt where the arrivals came from,” the minister said.

He also added that citizens were fired at with S-300 missiles, but modified. Because conventional shells leave funnels up to 7 meters deep and up to 10 meters in diameter.

“Today's rockets have left small funnels, so this indicates that the ammunition has been modified. That is, they should have ruptured immediately upon contact with the surface, thereby causing more damage. This is what the enemy forces were counting on. We will still bring all those involved to justice, because there is no doubt where the arrivals came from,” Denis Monastyrsky stressed.
