“Red Viburnum”: GUARD OF ATTACK. How it all began
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has launched a special project in which it tells about each of the brigades of the “Guard of Offensive”, the formation of which began a year ago. During this time, 10 compounds of a new type were created: “Azov”, “Stormy”, “Karadag”, “Fury”, “Frontier”, “Spartan”, “Steel Border”, “Revenge”, “Red Viburnum”, “Charter”.
In this series of the special project we will show the brigade “Red Viburnum” — the 14th brigade of the operational purpose named after Ivan Bogun. Combat unit of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the warriors of the “Red Viburnum” took part in the defense of Kiev, smashed the enemy column near Buzova. Since June 2022, units of the brigade have been fighting in Luhansk region, now they hold the defense in Donetsk region and Zaporizhzhia. The slogan of the Brigade is “The enemy is smoldering where the viburnum is red!”
