Bus driver tried to import drones and other undeclared equipment across Ukrainian-Polish border
The attempt to illegally import undeclared goods was stopped by border guards together with customs officers at the checkpoint “Krakivets”.
The 47-year-old driver of the Paraga-Zaporozhye route bus was heading to Ukraine tonight.
Based on the analysis and risk assessment, the border guards decided to check the car more thoroughly. During a joint inspection with operational officers, goods that were illegally moved across the border were found in the luggage compartment.
Under the passengers' bags, the man hid five drones, 10 headphones, virtual reality glasses and a gamepad.
A protocol was drawn up on this fact. The goods were seized by customs officers, the amount of the assessment will be set additionally.
