Bullying, harassment, violence: police warn young people against committing offenses
Law enforcement officers respond to any manifestations of child aggression.
In particular, a pre-trial investigation of the incident that occurred in December last year in one of Irpen's private educational institutions is underway.
Recall that in March 2023, the mother of one of the students filed a statement that in this educational institution, schoolchildren inflicted bodily injuries on her 9-year-old son at that time. The event took place during the children's joint leisure time.
On the facts of intentional infliction of blows, beatings or other violent acts and failure to perform or improper performance of professional or official duties to protect the life and health of minors [part 1 of Art. 126, part 1 of Art. 137 KKU], according to the procedural guidance of the Buchan District Prosecutor's Office, investigators of the Buchansky Police Department of Kyiv region are conducting a pre-trial investigation.
Kyiv police urge children not to remain silent about bullying or harassment they or their peers face. In addition, the police stress to teachers or other responsible adults: stop any manifestations of physical or psychological violence in children's teams, watch children closely when accompanying them during leisure time!
