Fighting for Avdiyivka: last days of defense and exit from the city through the eyes of border guards

On October 10, Russian forces began large-scale assault operations from the vicinity of Avdeevka. In four months of active fighting, the enemy lost more than 45,000 soldiers wounded and killed and several hundred units of armored vehicles.
During this time, Ukrainian border guards fought for the city next to the units of the Armed Forces and other Defense Forces. They left their positions after the corresponding command order only on February 17.
