The Migration Service, together with law enforcement agencies, are conducting a legal fight against illegal migration. In order to identify the possible stay, residence or employment of foreigners who are illegally in Ukraine, raids and rotations are carried out.

So, the other day, the migration authorities decided to forcibly expel a 27-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation, who has repeatedly served sentences in places of imprisonment on the territory of Ukraine.

From the walls of the State Administrative Service “Starobabanivska Correctional Colony”, a citizen of the Russian Federation went first to the court, where the case of his detention with the placement of foreigners and stateless persons to the point of temporary stay (PTPI) was heard, then to the PTPI, because he did not intend to leave the territory of Ukraine on his own, supported the crime crimes committed by the aggressor state, and planned to continue criminal activities in Ukraine.

In the Cherkasy region, the recidivist was serving a sentence for committing the crime provided for under Part 2 of Art. 289, Part 2 of Art. 185, Art. 395 KKU. I arrived in Ukraine back in 2004. Initially, he lived in the Kiev region, where he was brought not only to criminal responsibility, but also to the administrative one for violation of migration legislation. He did not comply with the decision on forced return made in 2018, once again being in prison.

In PTPI, a citizen of the Russian Federation will be able to stay for half a year. During this time, his identification will be carried out and the issue of the possibility of producing documents for return to the country of origin will be considered. After all, the only documents confirming the identity of a 27-year-old Russian are a birth certificate issued by the aggressor country and a certificate of release from prison.

In the Chernivtsi region, a Russian citizen living in Ukraine without any permits was also found. A woman has every reason to obtain a temporary residence permit and further registration of an immigration permit, since she is married to a citizen of Ukraine and has two children. However, for private reasons, she did not have time to streamline her status.

Currently, the violator of migration legislation has been fined in accordance with the requirements of Part 1 of Art. 203 KupAp. According to Art. 205 KUPap was also fined by her husband, who did not take care of the timely registration of the place of residence of his foreign wife.

At the same time, in Chernivtsi, two Moldovan citizens and two Russian citizens who lived in Ukraine on invalid expired documents were fined.

By the way, citizens of the Russian Federation continue to maintain a tacit leadership in the number of violations of migration legislation detected in Bukovina - statistics of the last week only confirm this once again.
