Military medics of the National Guard rescued Zaporizhzhevs wounded by rocket attack
On March 22, Russian occupiers fired rockets at residential buildings in Zaporozhye. Combat medics of the 15th brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine named after the Hero of Ukraine Lieutenant Bohdan Zavada immediately arrived at the scene of the tragedy and immediately began to provide assistance to the victims.
Two teams of medics of the 15th Brigade of the NGU arrived at the damaged houses within 5 minutes after the explosions. Doctors say that the view of the destroyed high-rise buildings was terrible.
“There were bloodied people everywhere. Someone was crying, someone was begging for help,” says the doctor Elena.
The military, remaining cool-blooded, immediately began to act.
“We stopped the bleeding, treated the wounds. Some of the victims were able to be helped on the spot — for example, one grandmother whose pressure jumped to critical levels as a result of severe stress. But, unfortunately, there were also serious cases with which it is necessary to work in a hospital,” says physician Anastasia.
Two Zaporizhzhia residents with serious injuries were taken to the hospital, where they were given the necessary assistance.
