Bohdan Drapiaty on registration of a car in the salon and the abolition of other restrictions
“The priority of the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is the maximum digitalization of the provision of administrative services by our bodies. In particular, on August 6, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 437 entered into force, which introduced some additional options that are convenient for citizens when they buy cars,” Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Bohdan Drapiaty said on the air of the All-Ukrainian TV Marathon “United News”.
The Deputy Minister said that now, when you contact a car dealership and want to buy a new car, the car dealership can do all the actions for you. You do not need a notarized power of attorney, you can authorize a car dealership employee instead of you to carry out registration actions with the car, get a registration certificate for the car, as well as a license plate on the car. In fact, the citizen is already leaving the cabin in a fully decorated car.
He added that such changes will be beneficial for the auto business.
Also, these are not all changes in the digitization of services that are waiting for citizens.
“At the end of September, together with the Ministry of Digital Resources, we plan to introduce the registration of a car purchase and sale agreement online. Citizens will not need to come directly to the territorial service center, but they will be able to draw up the corresponding sales contract through the Diya application and receive by mail the license plate and vehicle registration certificate,” the Deputy Minister said.
In addition, an important topic of discussion on the air of the All-Ukrainian TV Marathon “Yenyi Novosti” was noise limitation for vehicles.
“In this way, the state cares about citizens and wants to protect people. After all, we know that during a full-scale war, during a period of constant anxiety, our citizens experience a certain anxiety when a vehicle drives that exceeds the permissible noise level. Such roars are very similar to the flight of an unmanned aircraft or rocket. This causes a certain discomfort for the mental health of our citizens, and we are only interested in making the citizen feel safe in the first place,” Bohdan Drapiaty stressed.
Please note that for exceeding the permissible noise level in accordance with the draft law registered in the Parliament, a fine of UAH 17 thousand is provided for the first violation, and UAH 34 thousand fine with deprivation of the right to drive a car for a period of up to 6 months for repeated violation.
