Philanthropists from Spain handed over 23 cars to Ukrainian defenders
On July 11, another batch of medical vehicles from the Kingdom of Spain arrived in Ukraine.
The solemn transfer of vehicles took place in Lviv near the regional military administration with the participation of Spanish benefactors, the head of the Western regional department of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine Viktor Babyuk and the head of the region Maxim Kozytsky.
As humanitarian aid to Ukraine, 23 more cars — 19 “ambulances” and 4 pickups — were delivered. The machines were distributed among several power structures. The lion's share of cars for transporting the sick and injured will be strengthened by the border agency, which this time assigned 22 cars - 19 received today, three more “ambulances” will arrive soon.
The “ambulances” arrived not empty, but loaded with medicines, means of communication, office equipment.
“After Russia's attack on Ukraine against the aggressor country, the whole civilized world rose up. Through checkpoints on the western border, humanitarian aid is delivered to Ukraine from all corners of the EU and the world. We are sincerely grateful to the Spanish people for their helping hand and providing cars that will save many lives,” said Victor Babuk.
For their significant contribution to the victory over the invaders, the benefactors were presented with awards from the Head of the Border Department, the Head of the Western Regional Department of the State Border Service and the Head of the Lviv Regional State Border Service.
At the end of the event, the guests were presented with the state tax of Ukraine. In response, they presented the flag of the city of Leon.
This action was implemented for the fourth time thanks to the fruitful cooperation of the medical units of the State Border Service with the medical institutions of the Kingdom of Spain. The delivery and delivery of the machines took place within the framework of a campaign carried out by the CaixaBank Volunteer Association, the Messengers of Peace Association, the Santa Clara Convent Foundation with the direct participation of the head of this charitable institution, Sister Lucia.
