Belarusian border guard breached border to join Ukrainian Defense Forces in war against Russian aggressor
Recently, the border outfit of one of the units of the Volyn border detachment detained a man without documents. He illegally crossed the border of Ukraine, making his way from Belarus.
The detainee said that he is a Belarusian border guard and serves in the Brest border group. He noted that on violation he decided to join the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the war against the Russian aggressor.
The man also said that he had like-minded people about the need to resist Russia. With one of them, a Belarusian border guard went to Ukraine, but on the way to the border they were found and chased with gunfire, so only he was able to cross the state border alone.
Currently, the information voiced by the detainee is being checked, after which a decision will be made on its further fate.
