“White Angels” rescued a mother with three young children from the city of Zaliznoe, Donetsk region
11-year-old Yegor, 7-year-old Gleb and 7-month-old Sasha, along with their parents, lived under constant shelling in the city of Zalizne. Police repeatedly visited the family and offered an evacuation. The family did not want to leave their hometown, but the “White Angels” convinced them of the need for rescue. The mother and the baby are safe now.
The family did not plan to leave and waited for the war to end. However, the situation was getting worse every day, because it was only a few kilometers to the front line. When the occupiers hit the village with guided air bombs, the parents decided to take the children out.
“White angels” on an armored car took the children and their mother out of the shelling. On the way, 11-year-old Yegor told the police that when he grows up, he wants to become president.
“I would remove all the destruction. I would find builders who would rebuild the city and the sports ground,” the guy shared his dreams.
The family was taken to a shelterhouse in Konstantinovka. Next, volunteers will help the family to settle down in a safe region.
The police urge adults to fulfill their parental duty and take children out of the combat zone, because staying is deadly dangerous.
