Donetsk police chief Ruslan Osipenko handed an armored evacuation bus to a group operating in the Bakhmut direction. “Capsule” has already helped save the lives of three children.
“I want to be a policeman, to catch criminals with a dog,” says an 11-year-old boy who was evacuated by the White Angels from the village of Northern Toretska Hromada. The explosions do not subside here. A kilometer from the settlement there is a fighting zone, then - temporarily occupied Horlivka.
When the law enforcement officers got to the right address, another shelling began. After waiting for the arrival, the “white angels” found the mother and child, who at this time were running unattended in the cornfield.
And little Vika and Cyril from New York for safety were evacuated at night. Both families were successfully delivered to the Shelter. The Donetsk Regional Military Administration is engaged in further resettlement of people together with volunteers.
“The Donetsk police are ready and able to provide any assistance, especially with regard to evacuation. We are grateful to our colleagues, special officers of Volyn, who found the opportunity and handed over a specialized car. The police units of the “White Angel” are working under shells and constantly need to update the transport, which after numerous shelling fails,” Ruslan Osipenko noted.
Currently, about 300 children remain in the Toretska community, where the evacuation has been declared mandatory. Almost every day, the police accept applications from those who want to leave.
