The “White Angels” evacuated an elderly woman from a particularly dangerous part of Avdiyivka: the rashists destroyed her house
The pensioner lived with her son in the old part of the city, near the industrial zone, where heavy fighting has been going on for 9 years. They took the family under the explosions of shells.
Police continue to rescue Avdievs, whose homes are destroyed daily by Russia. In the mutilated Avdiyivka, Gennady and Dmitry from the group “White Angel” know about every enemy attack. Before their eyes, the invaders are wiping their hometown to the ground.
“On this wall is the son of my teacher. They lived in this house. A mine hit their apartment. Now they are in a safer place in Western Ukraine,” says Dmitry Soloviy about a high-rise building depicting a boy on a bicycle.
The police are trying to protect as much as possible their compatriots, they are taking people from any corner of Avdiyivka. The old part of the city is one of the most dangerous areas due to the proximity of the front.
The local has suffered from the war since 2014, but has remained at home. Now nothing keeps her in the city, because the enemy destroyed the house that the family built all her life. People like her are getting bigger every day.
The elderly woman hardly walks because of a broken arm and leg, but the crew is adapted to transport low-mobility and recumbent people. The “White Angels” took the pensioner with her son to a safe place. Next, the family will go under the care of the employees of the State Emergency Service.
About 2 thousand inhabitants remain in Avdiivka. The police urge not to wait for the occupiers to target the house, but to save their lives and leave now.
