The street, where 9-year-old Yaroslav lived, was destroyed to the ground, neighboring houses — without roofs. For now, the boy with his mother is in a safer place. On the outskirts of Krasnogorovka, Donetsk region, overlooking a field dotted with enemy shells, policemen brought bread, here it is worth the weight of gold. In addition, the special patrol “White Angel” accompanied the humanitarian cargo to the village of Elizavetovka: basic necessities, gifts for children and food for animals.

The rescue flight started from Krasnogorovka. Law enforcement officers arrived at the residential sector, which the occupiers had covered with artillery that morning. One of the houses burned down completely, the residents were not injured only because they had been evacuated for six months.

This time, the police took a woman with a small son to a safe place and distributed 200 loaves of bread to the people:

“Thank you for that. We have no shops here, walk three kilometers to the nearest one and the same amount - back. And it is not yet a fact that there will be bread,” say two elderly residents.

The second location is the village of Yelizavetovka of the Marin community. The White Angel group accompanied volunteers who brought humanitarian aid with a total weight of 1500 kg. For children — children's clothes and toys.

Settlements near the front line are hit daily by enemy strikes, houses are destroyed, and there may be people under the rubble. Therefore, this time, a rescue dog is part of the crew. Surah works with volunteers and finds people under the rubble. And she loves to play with children and calms them down.

Residents tell of fresh arrivals of enemy shells at homes, and children show the ruins of their school. Ruined walls, tattered desks, scattered notebooks and the inscription “Peace” on a blackboard are all that remains of the school, which was extensively renovated before the Russian invasion. Now, in the intervals between shelling, schoolchildren are trying to learn remotely.

In the fire zone, people survive only because of what police and volunteers bring. To date, about 200 tons of humanitarian aid have been delivered to all White Angel groups working in Donetsk region.
