“White Angels” delivered bread to the residents of the frontline village of Torske Liman community
Every day, a special police patrol operating in the Lyman direction delivers up to three tons of humanitarian aid to people. Each flight is combat, because the enemy deliberately hits the car of the “White Angels”. Nevertheless, the police know how to safely deliver valuable cargo and not endanger the civilian population.
Today, 219 people live in Torskoe, including six children. In the conditions of daily shelling, the police deliver everything they need to residents. For one flight “White Angel” brought bread for the whole village, and this is about 300 loaves.
One of the recent airstrikes completely destroyed a private house, but the residents were not hurt — because they were evacuated in time. Evacuation continues, law enforcement officers keep in constant contact with parents and are ready to take the little one out at any moment.
“The hardest thing is to come to families where there are dead. So, during the shelling killed a woman riding a bicycle. And her elderly mother, who hardly sees, was locked in the house. Neighbors informed us about the poor woman, and we took the lonely woman to a safer place, where she will be taken care of,” Valery Chernikova, the police crew of the “White Angel”, tells the police crew.
