Soldiers of the Special Operations Department of the Odessa Marine Guard Detachment improved their skills in high-precision shooting
Observation, the use of optical and laser rangefinders, ballistic calculation, working in a sniper pair, shooting at different distances and at different angles — these and many other elements the maritime border guards worked out in practice and carried out the corresponding analysis.
A special feature of the meeting was the use by special forces of the 308th caliber sniper complex. Snipers honed their skills at ranges from 500 to 1000 meters and in quite different weather conditions.
But, according to the participants, the bad weather just contributed to the improvement of skills, because in addition to the ability to shoot accurately, a real sniper must always take into account many parameters and factors and must be physically hardy, extremely balanced and concentrated.
