Within the framework of the flagship project “Driving schools for people with disabilities”, a 22-year-old girl was issued a driver's license valid for 2 years in service centers in Khmelnytskyi Oblast.

Marina from birth experienced difficulties with independent movement. She says that she came across information about the possibility of obtaining a driver's license in the “Driving School for Persons with Disabilities” on the social network. She did not hesitate for a long time, and as soon as she collected the necessary package of documents, she immediately began her studies.

“I'm very happy to finally get my first driver's license. This will help me become mobile and solve my own affairs,” says Marina Ivashkova.

The first graduate of the “Driving School for Persons with Disabilities” in Khmelnytskyi was a soldier Valentin Gorbachevsky. He took part in the flagship project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs implemented under the “No Barriers” initiative and received a driver's license for the first time.

The realities of the present tell us about extremely important things. Barrier-free space, services, information should be available everywhere and to everyone. Currently, the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are equipped with ramps, a call button for personnel and parking spaces.
