“Driving schools for persons with disabilities”: students who communicate in sign language successfully pass the theoretical exam
After completing the theoretical training in the “Driving School for Persons with Disabilities”, a group of persons who communicate in sign language applied to the Kamyanets - Podolsk Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to pass the theoretical part of the exam. Here everyone has the opportunity and access to public services - classes for passing theoretical exams are adapted as much as possible. Administrators of the service center can also use the services of the service “UTOG” - a video communication system with a sign language translator to ensure high-quality communication with persons with hearing impairment.
In addition, most service centers are equipped with a ramp and an administrator call button. Creating barrier-free conditions and providing equal opportunities for everyone. It is these principles that employees of the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs adhere to in their work. All - actively participate in the implementation of the flagship project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “Driving schools for persons with disabilities” with the support of the First Lady of Ukraine Elena Zelenska.
