“Driving schools for persons with disabilities”: one of the first graduates received a driver's license at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
One of the first students of the “Driving School for Persons with Disabilities” received a driver's license at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kiev. Lyudmila successfully passed the practical exam on a training car with manual control.
The woman is a current aerobics instructor in rehabilitation camps, is part of public organizations and participates in a variety of activities related to the adaptation of people with disabilities.
“I dreamed about it for a long time, but was even afraid to imagine that I could do it. Today I passed the practical driving exam and got my driver's license! I want to express my gratitude to the entire staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the opportunity to realize my dream. You really care about everyone's comfort, support and make the service fast and high-quality,” says Lyudmila.
“Driving schools for persons with disabilities” is a project about social adaptation to public life and equal opportunities for all persons with disabilities, seeks to master driving skills and obtain a driver's license.
Such driving schools operate and welcome those who wish in five regions of Ukraine - in Kiev, Lviv, Khmelnytsky, Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
