Automatic weapons, cartridges and grenades — the result of the work of Kharkiv dog guards in a week
The canologists of the 5th Slobozhanska Brigade continue to carry out their important and responsible service in preventing illegal attempts to import weapons and ammunition into the territory of Kharkiv.
And if the weekdays of last week turned out to be relatively calm in this sense, since Friday and during the weekend the work of the canine couples has been extremely focused and intense.
“Usually, offenders try at the end of the week to focus on attempts to illegally import explosives, weapons and drugs,” says the chief of the brigade's canine service.
According to him, this is due to an increase in the flow of cars through checkpoints, when the flow from Kharkov increases on Thursday - Friday, and at the end of the weekend - to Kharkiv.
“Obviously, offenders hope that dog breeders and our pets will lose vigilance due to fatigue, but this is an extremely shameful thought due to ignorance of the rules of organization of our service and the capabilities of our dogs,” the officer notes.
Thus, three cases of transportation of explosive objects and weapons were warned on Friday — November 23.
