Cars for the National Police, the State Border Guard Service and the National Guard: Vasily Teteria met with manufacturers of civil and military transport
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vasyl Teteria held a meeting with the management of the company AM “General”.
Representatives of the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Service, the National Police and representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also joined the meeting.
Vasily Teteria thanked the representatives of the foreign delegation for the visit and fruitful cooperation. The deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs focused on the company's vehicles - previously transferred to use Hummer SUVs. According to Vasily Teteri, they have already managed to show their effectiveness directly on the front line.
Therefore, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs stressed that it is these vehicles that are most in demand by Ukrainian servicemen. In addition, our defenders have already learned how to repair cars directly on the line of battle.
“They can quickly carry out repair work. This is the elimination of minor faults or replacement of rubber. All the transport that we have is in good working order and the repairs that occur during their operation are quickly eliminated by our guys,” said Vasily Teteria.
Currently in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - 173 vehicles of the company AM “General”. However, the need for them remains. Therefore, Vasil Teteria stressed the importance of car transfer within the framework of international assistance. But if this is not possible - the Ministry of Internal Affairs is ready to purchase vehicles.
In turn, Executive Vice President, Director for Business Development and Government Relations John Chadbourne noted that the company received a list of cars that the Ministry of Internal Affairs requires. Therefore, upon returning to the United States, the issue of the transfer of new vehicles will be carefully discussed.
