“To date, there are 2 thousand 123 children in the registry,” he said.

Answering the question of the journalist whether there are among them those who were deported to the Russian Federation, the Commissioner for Missing Persons under Special Circumstances noted that the administration of the Unified Register of Persons, including children, deported or forcibly displaced in connection with the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. publishes the State Enterprise “Ukrainian National Center for Peacebuilding”, which belongs to the sphere of management of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.

“This Register contains information about those persons who were forcibly relocated within the occupied territories, or deported to the territory of the Russian Federation or Belarus,” the official said.

According to him, the number of entries in this Register is very large, given that this information has been collected since the beginning of the war from all possible sources.

He noted that work is currently underway to compare the information contained in the Register of the Ministry of Reintegration and the Register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

“As for the records that are in our register, most of the children who are considered missing are orphans, children deprived of parental care, who were notified by the relevant authorities and institutions after the occupation of the territories,” said the Commissioner for Missing Persons in Special Circumstances stables.
