Russian army again fired on Kherson region and Sumy region: police recorded the consequences of enemy shelling
The Russian army continues to attack civilian objects in the regions of Ukraine. Last day, the enemy once again fired on Kherson and Sumy regions.
Beryslav and Kherson districts were under the sights of Kherson region. The army of the Russian Federation is trying to destroy infrastructure critical for the life of settlements. On peaceful settlements, the Russian troops were hit by aircraft, with rocket systems of volley fire, artillery, mortars and UAVs.
Russian military carried out an air strike on Novoberislav village, as a result of the explosions damaged at least 20 residential buildings, some premises are not subject to restoration, and in their place were left gutters and construction debris formed from destroyed roofs and walls.
In Kherson, under enemy fire was the city center, once densely populated, and now almost empty, the Naftogavani district and the “Karabel” microdistrict, these are the areas that suffer almost the greatest number of strikes from the Russian army. Residents of the Shumensky microdistrict, Chornobayivka, Komyshany and Antonovka shuddered almost every hour from the sounds of broken shells.
In Dnipro district as a result of shelling there was a fire on the territory of the plant, the fire was eliminated. A commercial building, a humanitarian warehouse were damaged in the city, shell holes in the facades of apartment buildings, apartments without windows, fires broke out in private houses after shelling, and people burned property and documents. All emergency services worked at the scene, documenting the consequences of shelling and assisting citizens. Despite the fact that the vast majority of residents have left the city due to constant Russian attacks, those who remain are trying to maintain their lives in Kherson and help each other.
Shelling was also documented in Sumy region. Over the past day, the occupiers have shelled settlements in Sumy region. A total of 112 strokes were scored.
As a result, one civilian was injured, livestock was killed, five private houses were damaged, a summer kitchen, a garage, power grids and a wheat field was burned.
According to these facts, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Violation of the laws and customs of war”.
