The Russian army struck again in Kherson region and Zaporizhzhia: they targeted civilian infrastructure
Russian troops continue to massively shell the right bank of the Kherson region, trying to destroy critical infrastructure facilities, carry out massive shelling of residential areas using rocket systems of volley fire, artillery, mortars, tanks and UAVs.
The settlements of Beryslav and Kherson districts were attacked by the Russian army from the left bank of the Dnieper. Enemy shells damaged houses and cars in Ponyatovka, Sadove, Stepanivka, Komyshany and Antonivka. In Tominy Balka, residential buildings, a power line were damaged and livestock were injured.
Russian troops randomly shelled Kherson, under enemy attack were the center, Dniprovsky and Karabelny districts. In the city, damage was recorded to apartment and private houses, shops, offices, a medical facility and a children's creativity house. Fortunately, there were no human casualties. Rescuers and policemen worked at the sites of the attacks, who collected material evidence, eliminated and documented the consequences of enemy attacks by the occupying forces of the Russian Federation.
Also over the past day, the occupiers shelled Zaporizhia 79 times. On August 17, terrorists shelled 20 settlements in the region with aircraft, RSPs and artillery, used UAVs. Destroyed residential and civil infrastructure of Zaporizhzhya, Polovsk and Vasilyevsky districts. There was no information about injured civilians.
Attacks were recorded in Komyshuvasi, Gulyaypol, Orihiv, Mala Tokmachka, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Pyatikhatkam, Novodarivka, Novoandriivka, Malynivka, Krasnoe, Bilogiryu, Poltava, Zatyshshi, Levadne, Mali Shcherbaky, Kaka Miansky, Lobkov, Plavni, Stepovo.
Russians continue to shell and destroy residential infrastructure in the settlements of Zaporizhzhya, Polovsk and Vasilyevsky districts. Thus, in Komyshuvasi as a result of shelling, the territories of households, residential buildings, outbuildings and personal vehicles of local residents were damaged. Also, after another air strike on Orikhov, the house of culture and the church were destroyed.
