The army of the Russian Federation once again attacked the borders of Chernihiv and Sumy region: there are dead among civilians
Russian occupation forces continue to shell the border territories of Ukraine. Over the past day, the Russian army fired 84 strikes in Sumy region alone. Also under enemy fire was the Novgorod-Seversky district of the Chernihiv region.
In Sumy region, as a result of enemy attacks on territorial communities, one civilian was wounded. In addition, shelling damaged 1 apartment building, 3 private households, a school, power lines and warehouses.
In Chernihiv region, the enemy launched an air strike, as a result of which a woman died. It is also known about three injured local residents.
Enemy shelling destroyed and damaged residential buildings and outbuildings.
Police continue to collect evidence base of Russian war crimes.
The information is entered in the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations. The police investigator opened proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of laws and customs of war).
Police urge citizens to respond responsibly to air alarms and be sure to follow the shelter.
