Russian army shelled Kherson region and Kharkiv region: there are casualties among civilians
At night, the occupiers again shelled Kherson and Kharkiv regions. According to the investigation, on the night of August 16, 2023, the Russian military once again launched an artillery strike on the Dar'iv community of the Kherson district.
The occupiers targeted a private house, resulting in a fire. The injured couple, a man and a woman were hospitalized. Currently, priority measures are being taken to record the crime committed by the army of the aggressor country.
Also, the occupiers continue to massively shell the border of Kharkiv region. Over the past day, the Russian military attacked Izyum, Kharkiv, Chuguevsk and Kupyan districts.
At night, the Russians struck Shahed drones on the village of Piski-Radkivski, Izyum district. Damaged warehouses of abandoned enterprise. As a result of shelling of the city of Volchansk, Chuguev district, private houses and outbuildings were damaged. Three police officers were injured.
In the glass of Petropavlovka, Kupyansk district, houses were destroyed. Investigative and operational teams, experts and explosives technicians worked at the scene.
On the facts of violation of the laws and customs of war, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
