Russian army shelled civilian facilities in Donetsk region: more than 30 homes damaged, wounded
Over the past 24 hours, on May 6, Russian occupation forces carried out 18 strikes on civilians in Donetsk region. The enemy attacked with missiles “S-300", from the RSDV “Grad” and artillery.
In total, Russian troops shelled 11 settlements: the cities of Avdiyivka, Bakhmut, Druzhkivka, Krasnogorovka, Kurakhovo, Chasiv Yar, New York, Severchne, Vremovka, Maksimovka, Novoselivka Persha.
Enemy shelling destroyed and damaged 46 civilian objects — 36 residential buildings, a home for the elderly, farm buildings and railway infrastructure.
At Druzhkivka, the Russian military directed 2 missiles “S-300”, aimed at the residential sector. At least 11 private homes and social infrastructure were destroyed.
As a result of enemy shelling, we have wounded in Avdiivka, Krasnogorovka, New York, Severchne, Maksimovka.
Police and SBU opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Another 229 people have been evacuated with the help of the police, since the beginning of the mandatory evacuation — 68,048 people, among them 8,077 — children, 3,049 — people with disabilities.
