Russian army attacked civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv and Kherson region: police document crimes
Russian occupation forces continue to shell the territory of Kherson and Kharkiv regions. During the day, April 20, the invaders opened fire on residential buildings, as a result of which there are wounded and dead.
So, over the past day, the police of the Kherson region opened 40 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes of the Russian army.
With rocket systems of volley fire, artillery, mortars, aircraft and UAVs, Russian troops covered the settlements of Beryslav and Kherson districts. There are injured and dead local residents, damage and destruction of residential buildings, outages occurred due to powerful explosions.
The occupiers carried out an air attack on the civilian infrastructure of the village of Kizomis. After the strikes by guided aerial bombs, ravines formed at the sites of the attacks, significantly damaged administrative buildings, and a 58-year-old man was killed.
During the artillery shelling of Bilozerka village, a 34-year-old local resident died from a mine blast injury and shrapnel wounds to the head. There are wounded in the town of Beryslav, Antonivka village and village. Ivanovka, all mine blast injuries, multiple injuries, fractures, shrapnel wounds to the head and torso, almost all have eyes and limbs damaged.
From the left bank of the Dnieper, the Russians hit the civilian infrastructure of Kherson and its suburbs. Enemy shells hit high-rise and private houses, from direct hits some of them completely destroyed, cars were cut by shrapnel.
Police, emergency responders and ambulance crews worked at the landing sites.
In Kharkiv region, the settlements of Kozacha Lopan, Kupyansk, Dvorichna, Volchansk, Kucherivka and others were under enemy fire.
So, in the city of Kupyansk, private households are damaged. As a result of the shelling, fires broke out.
Investigative and operational teams, experts and explosives technicians worked at the scene.
On the facts of violation of the laws and customs of war, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
