Russian army attacked civilian objects in Kherson and Donetsk regions: police document war crimes
Russian occupation forces continue to shell civilian settlements in Ukraine. In the past day alone, the police opened 32 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes of the Russian army in the Kherson region. Also, the occupiers attacked 21 settlements in Donetsk region.
On May 4, the enemy shelled the Kherson region with rocket systems of volley fire, artillery, tanks, aircraft and UAVs. The settlements of Beryslav and Kherson districts were affected.
The occupying forces attacked again from the aircraft of s. Kizomis, guided aerial bombs fell into the water, destruction of residential buildings was not recorded.
Also, the Russians dropped three aerial bombs on the city of Berislav, damaging the territory of the factory workshop, where a fire occurred on an area of 200 square meters.
From the left bank of the Dnieper, the Russian army shelled residential quarters of Kherson with “Gradov” and artillery, enemy shells hit high-rise and private houses, cars, and the road surface. In the houses during the shelling, the shock wave knocked out windows, balcony frames, facades and roof coverings were also damaged.
The neighborhoods of Korabel, HBC and summer cottages were the most affected. Due to enemy shelling in some areas of the city, the light has disappeared, but energy officials are already working to solve the problem faster.
In Donetsk region, the invaders made 40 fire attacks on the cities of Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhovo, Bakhmut, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, New York, Zarichne, Nelipivka, Orlivka, villages Orlivka, Shcherbinovka, Karlivka, Netaylovo, Vremovka, Mymivka Kolaivka, Ivanopillya, Stupochky, Lastochkin, Chromove, Predtechyne.
The troops of the Russian Federation used aviation, ZRK “S-300", RSVV “Grad”, artillery, tanks.
66 civilian objects were destroyed: 40 residential buildings, buildings of an educational institution, kindergartens, a factory, a farm, a bridge, power lines, warehouses, outbuildings, civilian cars.
On Avdiivka, the enemy launched 5 air strikes. A local business suffered damage. According to preliminary information, no civilians were injured.
Russian military missiles hit Kramatorsk. Damaged apartment and private houses, educational institutions, critical infrastructure. There was no information on the victims.
From “Gradov” and artillery, the Rashists attacked Toretsk, hit private homes, wounded a local resident. The Russians covered the town of New York with artillery.
A civilian was killed and three others were injured. Apartment buildings and private houses were damaged.
As a result of enemy shelling, we have a person killed in Bakhmut and wounded in the village of Mykolaivka of Konstantinovskaya hromada.
Police and SBU have already opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
