The Academy of Police of Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs conducted the first recruitment of trainees in Kirovograd region
52 future investigative and police support units from Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Ternopil, Cherkasy, Chernihiv regions are being trained at Mariupol Primary Vocational Training Center “Police Academy”, currently located in Kropyvnytskyi Tskoy.
“Now, when the war continues in the country, Ukrainian society needs a new generation of law enforcement officers capable of ensuring order and security of citizens in conditions of martial law. That is why I, already having a higher education, decided to retrain in order to serve for the benefit of the people,” said the listener of the center Oleksandr Myronyuk.
Instructors and lecturers of the center integrate their own experience into the training of future police officers, orient them on actions in various situations of service activity, extreme conditions, de-occupation measures.
Students acquire the legal, special, psychological knowledge and skills necessary for effective policing. The practical component of the training will consist of classes in fire, tactical, physical and pre-medical training. Students will also receive the necessary knowledge on issues of tolerance, police ethics, gender culture, effective communication.
