Absolute record: group of 40 violators tried to enter Hungary (VIDEO)
On the evening of February 8 in Transcarpathia, near the border with Hungary, border guards stopped two minibuses with 40 people.
The drivers of the vehicles were residents of Transcarpathia, who transported 38 men of conscription age. This is a record number of border violators detained during a full-scale war.
It consists of the largest number of residents of Transcarpathia - 12 people, Lviv region - 6 people, Kyiv region - 5 people, the rest are from Dnipropetrovsk region, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Khmelnytsky region, Poltava region, Zaporizhia, Kherson region, Cherkasy region and Rivne region.
For the services, the organizers of illegal transportation planned to break the jackpot, receiving from their customers from 4,500 to 8,500 US dollars.
Regarding the detection in the actions of carriers of signs of a crime provided for in Art. 332 of the Criminal Code, border guards informed the police officers.
In relation to the detainees, protocols were drawn up on administrative offenses, provided for in Art. 204-1 KUPAP “Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine”, the cases are referred to the court.
