7 years since the creation of the Department of Patrol Police
7 years of service to the Ukrainian people, improvement, development, and achievements. And, of course, carving out their own traditions. Because the patrol police are a large family of many thousands.
The patrol police cherish their traditions. All this gives strength of spirit, a sense of unity and inspiration.
Even today, on the 7th anniversary of the Department, Cossack attributes were handed over: the Inviolability shield with sabers and mace to the heads of all departments, as a symbol of the strength of spirit that unites all who have chosen their life's calling to serve and protect.
After all, each of the patrolmen, who is now in service, who has passed the path from the beginning of its creation, or came with the last set, without exaggeration, is unbreakable. Every day they prove their steadfastness, courage, invincibility of spirit. No difficulties and new challenges stop them, but only harden and strengthen them. For patrolling is willpower, determination and, if necessary, self-sacrifice. And no enemy can break us.
Yes, the full-scale invasion of Ukraine changed our lives, but it did not change our main goals: to help and protect. And our patrols prove it every day and every hour. When, together with the Defense Forces, they conquer our land, when they evacuate people under shelling, escort critical loads, when they save lives and ensure law order. Because every challenge and every change for them can be the last.
“I am proud to hand over these Inviolability shields. Let them be in your offices, so that every patrol police officer knows and understands that he is part of a large and powerful family, and proudly carries the title of police officer,” said the head of the Patrol Police Department Yevgeny Zhukov.
From now on, the “Inviolability” shield with sabers and mace, which will be in every department of the patrol police, will add strength and inspiration, remind everyone of our invincibility, steadfastness of strength and courage.
