6 thousand US dollars for transfer to another unit: an official of one of the VCA was detained in Odesa region
The husband demanded $6,000 in illegal benefits from the wife of a soldier who was seriously wounded during the fighting. In order to avoid being exposed and hide his activities, he engaged an intermediary.
For the specified amount, the head of the mobilization sector of one of the military-civilian administrations promised to influence the authorized persons of the military unit. In particular, to assist in their decision to issue a “relation” for further military service in another unit.
Currently, the official is detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He was informed of the suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 369-2 (Abuse of influence) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The issue of reporting the suspect and his accomplice is being resolved.
