51 medals were won by Ukrainians at Warrior Games: 8 of them were won by the National Guard

19 gold, 21 silver and 11 bronze medals were won by Ukrainian veterans at the international adaptive competitions for servicemen and veterans Warrior Games. They took place in Orlando, USA.


Seven guards took part in them, 5 of them took prize places.

Among them: Vladislav Shatilo took the gold in powerlifting and the gold medal in rowing on the simulator (4 minutes).

Igor Galushka took gold in rowing on the simulator (4 minutes).

Sergey Naumov took the gold in powerlifting and the gold medal in rowing on the simulator (1 minute). Rodion Sitdikov took the gold in the discus throw and the core push. Yevgeny Zhar — took silver at the 1500 m, 800 m, and 2nd place in the 4x100 relay.




It should be noted that the National Team of Ukraine is taking part in the Warrior Games for the first time. Due to the full-scale invasion of Russia, athletes could not fully conduct training. Many of them returned to the front. Two veterans and a coach from the team died, and Yulia Paevska, a volunteer medic, was caught and returned from captivity. However, the defenders and defenders underwent intensive training in the UK thanks to the support of this country.

Ukrainians were able to take part in the competition and show incredible results.
