50 rescuers extinguish a large-scale fire at an enterprise in Ternopil (VIDEO)
Tonight, at 03:05, the emergency number “101” received a report of a large-scale fire at one of the Ternopil enterprises.
2 departments of the Special Fire Equipment Department and 2 departments of 1 of the State Fire and Rescue Department were immediately sent to the scene. The fire was classified by 3 call number.
Additionally, a tactical fire robot from Rivne was sent to the scene of the fire. 15 units of main and auxiliary equipment and 50 rescuers are involved in extinguishing the fire. Thanks to the use of an unmanned aircraft, rescuers carried out reconnaissance of the scene.
It is established that the estimated area of combustion is about 9,000 square meters. The building is one-story with a total area of 13,000 square meters, with walls made of sandwich panels and metal covering on metal trusses. The building is filled with foam.
As of 05:45 rescuers managed to locate the fire and the liquidation is ongoing.
No casualties were identified as a result of the fire. The causes of the fire are established.
