38 members of the criminal community “Twenty” were taken into custody
Such non-alternative precautions were chosen by the courts for the defendants, who were detained as a result of the first stage of the police special operation.
On the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region and in several other regions of the state, the police conducted a large-scale special operation to eliminate the activities of the drug cartel, whose members supplied drugs to almost all of Ukraine. Then 38 members of the criminal community were detained, including leaders, representatives of the force block, “chemists” and sellers. Currently, everyone has chosen non-alternative preventive measures in the form of detention for a period of 60 days.
In addition, according to the results of more than 200 simultaneous searches, law enforcement officers seized from the members of the criminal group common property worth more than 170 million hryvnias. Among the seized are watches worth 2 million US dollars, in particular from the president of the Russian Federation, more than 22 million hryvnias in cash in various currencies, 40 cars with a total value of 50 million hryvnias, ancient books, icons, 8 kg of methamphetamine, more than 600 bags with a substance of plant origin and methadone tablets, of which the cost per the prices of the “black” market reach 20 million hryvnias, weapons.
The question of the imposition of arrest on the seized property is being resolved.
