38 years ago, the whole world was shaken by the largest man-made disaster in history — the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident. Hundreds of thousands of our citizens participated in the elimination of the consequences of the explosion and the curbing of radiation exposure, among which were the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They sacrificed health, and in some places life, for the safety of mankind. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko writes about this in his Telegram channel.

When the occupiers seized the Chernobyl nuclear power plant two years ago, the Minister notes, our military, in particular the National Guard fighters, defended the Chernobyl zone at the cost of their own lives and eventually expelled the invaders from there. But today the nuclear danger has again hovered over the whole world, emphasizes the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The largest in Europe — Zaporizhzhya NPP — is occupied. This is a violation of international law, real terrorism.

“We must be united to stop evil and never allow tragedies again. Thank you to everyone who stands up for security”, - concludes Igor Klymenko in his post.
