In Ukraine, about 300 thousand people have suffered from human trafficking in Ukraine in 30 years. And in European countries, more than 140,000 people find themselves in situations related to violence and sexual exploitation, one in seven victims of trafficking has been used to engage in prostitution.

The main purpose of human trafficking is human exploitation for profit, so it can manifest itself in various forms:
●labor exploitation
●sexual exploitation ●use in pornography ●engaging in begging ●sale of child ●organ extraction ●forced pregnancy/ forced abortion ● forced marriage ●forced adoption/adoption for profit ●conducting experiments on human beings
●use in armed conflicts ●








involvement in criminal activity

Remember, the system of assistance to victims has been operating in Ukraine for more than 12 years and criminal liability in the form of imprisonment up to 15 years is provided for criminals for trafficking in human beings.
