3,000 euros for evading the prize: in Bukovina police detained the organizer of the “scheme”
For the specified amount, the detainee promised to influence the employees of the staffing and social support center to make the “right” decision.
The criminal “scheme” was exposed and its organizer was established by the operatives of the department of strategic investigations in the Chernivtsi region and investigators of the regional police. For a certain reward, the defendant promised to “resolve the issue” regarding the non-conscription of men to the ranks of the Armed Forces. The cost of such a service was 3000 euros.
On July 8, the police detained the organizer of the “scheme” while receiving 1,500 euros of ill-gotten benefits. Earlier, during the investigative actions, the facts of the transfer of 1000 and 500 euros were documented.
Investigative actions continue. The defendant was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The issue of reporting suspicions under Part 3 of Art. 369-2 (abuse of influence) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is resolved. According to the results of the searches, part of the funds received earlier as an illegal profit was seized.
Criminal proceedings are investigated under the procedural guidance of the Chernivtsi Regional Prosecutor's Office.
