February 26 — Day of resistance to the occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol
Ten years ago, the Russian Federation launched an armed aggression against Ukraine. It all started with Crimea. Sovereign groups of the Russian Federation began attempts to seize the Crimean peninsula.
On February 26, 2014, at the call of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people to the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, thousands of Crimean Tatars, Ukrainians and representatives of other nationalities came out to resist the Russian occupation and declared to the whole world about the integrity of Ukraine.
The next day, at 5 am, regular military formations of the Russian Federation entered the government buildings of the ARC.
Currently, the liberation struggle and defense of Ukraine continues throughout the country by the forces of all citizens and the security and defense forces of the state!
The resistance has lasted 10 years and today we are giving a full-scale repulse to the enemy!
