The issue of registered and registered weapons is one of the key areas in the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. That is why the creation of the ERZ was on the list of our priorities this year! The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
“In March, we announced that the full launch of the registry is scheduled for June 2023. After months of hard work on June 23, the ERZ started working, which allowed us to strengthen control over the circulation of firearms, and at the same time simplify the process of its registration for citizens,” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
As of the end of the year, he reports, Ukrainians submitted more than 175 thousand applications for various types of weapons permits. Police officers made more than 164 thousand decisions on granting relevant permits.
“We continue to work and know what to do next to make our country safer!”, - summed up the Minister of the Interior.
