$2,000 for exclusion from the lists of conscripts: the officer of the recruitment center was exposed in Khmelnytskyi Oblast
An employee of one of the departments of the staffing center was given a suspicion of influence on members of the military medical commission.
Operatives of the Directorate of Strategic Investigations in Khmelnytsky region, together with regional police investigators and employees of Khmelnytsky specialized prosecutor's office in the military and defense sphere of the Western region, established the details of the criminal “scheme”.
The man, working in the regional recruitment center, promised to influence the members of the military medical commission to adopt a positive decision on the issue of excluding men of conscription age from the lists of potential conscripts of the military commissariat for health reasons. In confirmation, the commission had to issue certificates of unsuitability for service.
Such a “service” cost 2000 US dollars.
At present, the defendant has been detained and handed a notice of suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 2 of Art. 369-2 (Abuse of influence) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. A number of searches were also carried out and the means of communication and official documentation were seized. The employee is removed from office.
A full circle of persons is currently being established with a view to further bringing them to justice.
