On the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and in cooperation with the UN Children's Fund “UNICEF”, 10 regions of Ukraine will receive mobile safety classes.

The solemn transfer of certificates for the use of classes took place today in Kyiv. The event was attended by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko, Head of the Mission of the UN Children's Fund “UNICEF” in Ukraine Murat Shahin, heads of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine, rescuers and policemen American.

In these mobile safety classes, children will gain knowledge about the threats that mines and explosive objects carry, as well as learn the rules of safety and behavior in such cases.

“As a result of the explosion on explosive objects, almost 250 people were killed and about 500 others were injured. The Mobile Security Classes Initiative aims to protect people from this threat and other wartime challenges,” said Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal.

Today, the first 15 mobile class cars have been transferred, 5 more will arrive soon.

“These cars will travel to 10 regions of Ukraine and the city of Kiev. They will work precisely in those remote areas and communities where children cannot attend full-time education. The classes present everything the child needs to know. Training programs will be constantly updated, because the enemy every time uses new means of murder on the territory of our state,” Igor Klymenko noted.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has already trained 44 specialists from the State Emergency Service and the National Police, who will work together with teachers in these mobile security classes. In addition, there are currently 1700 stationary security classes in Ukraine.
