June 14 - World Donor Day: One blood donor saves three people
This day is an opportunity to thank donors for their noble deed and saving many lives. According to statistics, about 500 thousand people become blood donors in Ukraine every year.
Unfortunately, the need for donor blood in today's conditions arises every day, because due to Russian aggression and full-scale invasion Ukrainians suffer, both military and civilian Ukrainians.
Soldiers of the State Border Guard Service, the National Guard of Ukraine, policemen, rescuers of the State Emergency Service and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine regularly participate in a useful cause and become blood donors in order to save the lives of others.
By donating blood, the donor gives a chance to live, makes his invaluable contribution to a good cause and our common victory. We appreciate the contribution of everyone who has not stood aside to restore the health of our soldiers and compatriots, and we believe that more and more conscious citizens will join such an important and worthy cause that saves human lives.
