USD 1000 for temporary unfitness for military service: police officers of Ivano-Frankivsk region exposed and detained the head of the VLC
The 35-year-old deputy director of the district hospital, and at the same time the head of the military-medical commission of the district territorial center of staffing and social support, issued knowingly false certificates to servicemen. Therefore, he facilitated the illegal crossing across the state border of Ukraine.
During the pre-trial investigation, it was found that the 35-year-old doctor organized a scheme to issue a military man with a certificate from the military medical commission on temporary unfitness for health reasons. To do this, he fictitiously registered his husband for inpatient treatment. This false certificate gave the serviceman the right to travel abroad. It cost him $1,000. It was such a bribe that the official received, and then he was detained by the police in the order of art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
The man was reported on suspicion of receiving illegal benefits by an official and facilitating the illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine. We are talking about Part 3 of Art. 368 and Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The court chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention with the right to make bail. Currently, law enforcement officers identify other persons involved in criminal activity, as well as check the involvement of the detainee in committing other similar crimes.
