The planning process of force assessment is an important process within the framework of the Partnership for Peace Programme for those partner countries that wish to participate in it, i.e. on a voluntary basis.
The purpose of the PPOS is to provide partner states with the ability to train forces capable of working together with NATO member states, as well as to create a mechanism for the exchange of information on defense and budget planning.
To address the issues of achieving interoperability at each stage of the PPOS, special Partnership Goals (CPs) are developed, which are offered to partners as directions in the work. Progress towards these goals is constantly being reviewed. On June 05, 2018, the North Atlantic Council approved a new package of Partnership Goals for Ukraine.
The updated package of Partnership Goals for the Ministry of Internal Affairs includes 3 objectives, namely:
- (CP I 0013) gender policy;
- (CPU I 0304) planning and budgeting;
- (CPU I 7302) cyber protection.
