In accordance with Articles 9, 13 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Principles of State Regulatory Policy in the Field of Economic Activity” (hereinafter — the Law) and in order to receive comments and suggestions from individuals and legal entities, the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Licensing Act” is published on May 16, 2020 Conditions for conducting economic activities for the production and repair of non-military firearms and their ammunition, cold weapons, pneumatic weapons with a caliber of more than 4.5 millimeters and a bullet flight speed of more than 100 meters per second, trade in non-military firearms and their ammunition, cold weapons, pneumatic weapons of caliber over 4.5 millimeters and a bullet flight speed of more than 100 meters per second; production of special devices charged with tear and irritant substances, personal protection, active defense and their sale”, explanatory note and analysis of its regulatory impact.

The draft resolution was developed in order to bring the License Terms in accordance with the Law of Ukraine of October 02, 2019 No. 139-IX “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Improving the Procedure for Licensing Economic Activities”.
The adoption of the draft resolution will contribute to bringing the regulatory act into line with the legislation, improving its provisions, defining clear, understandable, unambiguous for application by the licensing authority and execution by the licensee, the conditions for starting and conducting economic activities in the relevant field by the licensee.
